Airtime ("the app," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: On iOS, if you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, optionally, your name and email. You can also use Airtime without an account, in which case we store only an anonymous device identifier. The Android version does not offer sign-in at all — it keeps your data on your device.
- Your content: The coasters you track, your ratings, ride counts, notes, and any photos you add.
- We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or browsing activity, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking.
How we use it
- To provide the app's features: saving your coasters, syncing them across your devices, and generating personal and aggregated global rankings.
- Ratings used for global rankings are aggregated and not linked to your identity.
Where your data is stored
On your device, and — where cross-device sync is enabled — on our private server. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Third parties
Where sign-in is offered, it is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google Play, which handle payment details — we never see or store them. Coaster names, details, and photos are sourced from Wikipedia, Wikidata, and (where applicable) Captain Coaster. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your data at any time from Profile → Settings in the app — "Delete Account & Data" on iOS, or "Delete All Data" on Android. Uninstalling the app also removes everything stored on your device.
Children
Airtime is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy; changes will be posted on this page.
